14 Days Zanzibar and Tanzania Safari

Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, our team of airport staff will warmly welcome and greet you. Then your driver guide will accompany you to your hotel in Arusha, where you will enjoy dinner and spend the night.

Our 14-day Zanzibar and Tanzania safari holidays begins. After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park with packed lunch boxes. The journey from Arusha to Tarangire National Park spans approximately 110km and takes about 2 hours. Tarangire National Park is renowned for its vast herds of elephants, but it also offers excellent opportunities to spot lions, leopards, a variety of bird species, and diverse landscapes and wildlife.

Following breakfast at the lodge, you will embark on a morning game drive in the Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day crater tour. You will have the opportunity to enjoy your lunch near the Hippo pool inside the crater. The Ngorongoro Crater, a deep volcanic caldera, is the world’s largest unflooded and unbroken caldera. With a diameter of approximately 20km, a depth of 600m, and covering an area of 300 square kilometres, the Ngorongoro Crater is a breath-taking natural wonder. In the evening, you will drive to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Begin your day with breakfast at the lodge, then embark on a journey to Empakai for a day of walking and hiking in the Empakai Crater. A picnic lunch will be provided after the hike. In the late afternoon, you will drive to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay. The Empakai Crater, situated within the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, is renowned for its stunning beauty. From the crater rim, you will be treated to a fantastic view of the lush green paradise below. The high altitude often blankets the area in mist, further enhancing the ethereal atmosphere. It is a unique destination for walking and exploring the forested crater and its rich wildlife and flora.

After breakfast, you will drive to Serengeti National Park. In the afternoon, your driver will select a picturesque location to set up and prepare a table for lunch. Following lunch, enjoy an afternoon game drive to observe the abundant wildlife, including the renowned “Big Five.” As the day draws to a close, check into the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Following breakfast at the lodge, embark on a full-day game drive in Serengeti National Park, dedicated to searching for big cats and the “Big Five.” In the afternoon, your driver will arrange a table and prepare lunch. Late in the afternoon, drive back to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Today, you will partake in a thrilling hot air balloon safari. At 5:00 am, you will be picked up from the lodge for the balloon ride. Upon landing, a champagne celebration and a delicious breakfast will await you. Following breakfast, continue with a day game drive in the Central Serengeti Seronera Area until lunchtime. In the late afternoon, return to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

After breakfast at the lodge, enjoy a game drive in Central Serengeti National Park, dedicated to spotting more big cats and the “Big Five.” In the afternoon, your driver will set up a table and prepare lunch. Late in the afternoon, drive to Karatu and check into the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Following breakfast, set out for Lake Manyara National Park. This diverse and relatively small park is named after the shallow salt lake that covers a large portion of its surface area. Enjoy a full day game drive in Lake Manyara National Park, and your driver will arrange a table for lunch. In the evening, check into the lodge or camp for dinner and your overnight stay.

After breakfast, drive back to Arusha and proceed to the airport for your flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival, our driver will greet you and transfer you to the hotel for dinner and your overnight stay.

Begin your day with breakfast at the hotel, followed by a tour of Stone Town. In the afternoon, you will be transferred to the beachside of Kiwengwa, where you will check into a beach resort for dinner and your overnight stay. We have curated a special Spice Tour that provides in-depth information about the local spices. After the tour, you will be invited to a lavish lunch at our guides’ home, where you can savor the flavors of the spices and fruits. Along the way, you will pass by Jozani Forest, the last habitat of the rare and endemic red Colobus monkey. Accompanied by a local guide, you will stroll through Jozani Chwaka National Park and observe these remarkable primates. If you wish, you can also explore the fascinating Mangrove Ecosystem by taking a walk along the boardwalk.

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast at the hotel and spend the entire day relaxing at the beach. The hotel can arrange various water sports activities upon request. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the hotel.

In the evening, enjoy dinner and spend the night at the hotel. Zanzibar, known as the majestic spice island of the Indian Ocean, consists of two main islands: Unguja and Pemba.

After breakfast at the hotel, take some time to relax at the beach. Depending on your departure flight time, you will be picked up in the afternoon and transferred to Stone Town, then to Zanzibar Airport for your departure. This will be the End of 14-day Zanzibar and Tanzania safari with us.
