In the morning, drive out of north Arusha City and on to Tarangire National Park. The Park is home to Zebras, buffalo, gazelle, eland, and the oryx. It also holds a high concentration of elephant herds. After a morning of game viewing drive, enjoy packed lunch, followed by a further game viewing drive in the afternoon.
Dinner and overnight at a lodge or camp.
After breakfast, drive out of Tarangire National Park, passing through the Great Rift Valley wall and through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, and on to Serengeti National Park.
Enjoy game viewing drive en-route with a packed lunch.

Spend the day exploring the vast Serengeti National Park with its endless plains. Every year more than a million wildebeests, zebras, and Thomson gazelle gather to undertake the long trek in search of grazing land, popularly referred to as the Great Annual Migration.
The Park can be divided into 3 sections. The popular southern/central part (Seronera Valley), is what the Maasai called the “serengit”, the land of endless plains. It’s classic savannah, dotted with acacias and filled with wildlife.
The western corridor is marked by the Grumeti River and has more forests and dense bushes. The north, Lobo area, meets up with Kenya’s Masai Mara Reserve and is the least visited section.
The Park is also rich in plain games and predators.

After breakfast, drive out of Serengeti National Park with game viewing drive en-route and on to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a game viewing drive where one can spot the Big 5, Lion, Buffalo, Elephant, and Rhino.
Enjoy a picnic lunch served at the Crater public picnic site.
Later in the afternoon, ascent the Crater.

After breakfast, drive out of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and on through the Ngorongoro Highlands. Descend into the Great Valley and on to Lake Eyasi arriving in time for lunch. Lake Eyasi is located in the Rift Valley south of Ngorongoro Highlands. This saline lake is home to various rare fish species, rare birds, and reptiles to mention a few.
In the afternoon, visit the lake and local bushmen tribes of the Datoga and Hadzabe.
Dinner and overnight at a lodge or camp.
Early in the morning, depart with a local guide for a hunting trip with the bushmen of the Hadzabe tribe, who are also wild fruit gatherers.
Late in the morning, return to your lodge for a brunch.
Visit the local village and the Lake.
Dinner and overnight at a lodge or camp.
After breakfast, drive to the town of Mto Wa Mbu for a cultural gathering.
Meet the local people and visit the Banana Plantations and saplings.
Try the local brewed Banana Beer.
Have lunch at a local restaurant.
Later, go for an afternoon drive to Lake Manyara National Park for a game viewing drive.
Have dinner and overnight at a lodge or camp.
After a leisurely breakfast, drive back to Arusha city, arriving by mid-day and transfer to Airport or Drop off at the Lodge. This mark the End of 8 Days Tanzania cultural Safari package with us.
