8-DAYS TANZANIA SAFARI-LAKE NATRON

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our professional and personal driver guide. You will be transferred to your hotel in Arusha for your overnight relaxation and preparation in keenness for the coming safari adventure.

Our 8-Days Tanzania Safari to lake Natron package begins today. After breakfast, your driver-guide will pick you up and start your adventure drive towards the Lake Natron, one of the Rift Valley’s most renowned lakes and home to impressive concentrations of flamingos. You will enjoy a picnic lunch at midday, then proceed with an afternoon walking safari accompanies with Masai people around the Lake. For the Mountain climbing here you can try to trek the only active carbonatite volcano on earth! One of the hardest one-day hikes in East Africa, but an amazing challenge, later in the evening, walk to your accommodation for relaxation, dinner, and your overnight stay.

This morning, put on your walking shoes as a Maasai tribesman guides you on a walk around the shores of Lake Natron in search of the Lesser flamingo. Lake Natron is the most important and regular breeding site for Lesser Flamingos in East Africa and during the breeding season, Lake Natron hosts up to 2.5 million flamingos. Later complete your day of exploring lake Natron, venture out on a moderate two-hour hike along the western edge of Lake Natron leading to a series of narrow gorges and waterfalls, where you can swim in slot canyons and walk behind the falling water.

After a good breakfast, you will depart on your adventure towards Africa Safari Serengeti Central. This game drive leads you through Serengeti National Park. Your driver-guide will take you exploring, following the movement of resident wildlife, while heading towards to your accommodation. There will be a stop for a picnic lunch along the way. You will enjoy evening game drive in  Serengeti National Park. We are entirely flexible with your preferences, and this day will be prearranged according to your desires. Your guide will discuss the best timings for every safari day, including the game drives and the wake-up time.

The Central Serengeti offers superb game viewing all year round due to its abundance of resident animals. Specifically, the Seronera River Valley in Central Serengeti is a ‘must see’ on every safari, regardless of the specific month of travel. Game viewing in Central Serengeti is at its best during the dry season (June – November), as animals are more concentrated in the immediate area due to the lack of water on the Savannah plains.

Wake up early in the morning for breakfast, followed by departure for a morning game drive. Spot the animals when they are more active and have a fantastic sunrise. The sun-up in the African savannah is one of the most excellent stunning, unforgettable experiences. After lunch, it’s time to drive eastwards to visit another spectacular setting for Tanzania’s wildlife, the famous Ngorongoro Crater. Upon arrival late in the afternoon, settle for dinner and your overnight stay.

Today there will be plenty of time to enjoy another actual show—Ngorongoro Crater. It is often referred to as a Wonder of the World. After breakfast, descend into the crater floor for an incredible morning of wildlife viewing in one of the most splendid places exploring Africa’s Garden of Eden, the Ngorongoro Crater. After some exploring, enjoy a lunch picnic in the crater’s heart before we take in some more sights and drive up the steep road out of the crater, heading to the Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, your adventure continues. Explore the game-rich areas of the famed Tarangire National Park on game drives until midday. You will have a stop for a picnic lunch; the picnic area is fascinating, boasting an observatory with amazing views of the Tarangire River and wildlife. After having your picnic lunch. Continue with a game viewing on route, then drive back to your accommodation in Arusha or Transfer to the Airport.
