TANZANIA LUXURY SAFARI & ZANZIBAR- ISLAND BEACH

After early morning breakfast at your hotel of stay you will meet with your guide where he will give you a short but brief introduction of your safari then after you will collect your belongings ready to start your memorable safari. You will start your safari with the drive to Nyerere national park and the drive will take 5-6 hours depending on road traffic condition. The Neyerere national park is the largest national park which originates from Selous game reserve (which had an area of 50,000sqkm so after division currently the park covers over 31,000 sq km.         What will surprise you also is that despite its largeness in size but Nyerere national park gets relatively few visitors meaning you won’t come across many other vehicles on your daily game drives.

Upon arrival you will drive to the camp where you will check in followed by lunch before departing for two to three-hour evening boat safari which will bring you into close contact with hippos, crocodiles, and fantastic bird life. Crocodiles glide into the water as your boat approaches and hippos appear in frightening proximity, grunting and blowing steam surely it is experience not to miss. Later you will head back to the camp for dinner and overnight.

You will have a full day game drive in Nyerere national park (Selous Game Reserve). Exploration of the Reserve will be by a 4wd vehicle which permits you to have a good photographic opportunity and the chance to explore different sections of vast park. The park is famous for its Elephants, but commonly seen animals are lions, wild dogs, buffalo, bushbuck, impalas, elands, baboons, zebra, wildebeest and greater kudu. Later return to the camp for dinner and overnight.

After early morning hot African coffee go out for walking safari with local guide, enjoy the morning sunrise, learn different species of plants and their traditional uses, especially the medicinal ones as well as birds and animals at a very close distance. Also guided walk gives a room for a closer discussion through questions both local cultures and connections of local people and their natural environment. And later walk back for a good breakfast, after breakfast pack your things and drive out of the pack back to Dar es salaam where you will catch your flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival you will be picked up then drive to the hotel where you will check in followed by rest and a hot delicious dinner.

In these full two days you will have an individual time and space to enjoy the breeze and relaxing around the resort and get to choose what you want to do on your own.

After your morning breakfast you will set out ready to explore the beauty of Zanzibar. Activities that you can choose includes:

1.Set out to Jozani forest a home for famous Zanzibar Red Colobus Monkeys and many other animals. In this trip you will be able to watch the endemic Red Columbus monkeys in their natural environment, the mangrove tree Lagoon and the big forest with trees so high that nearly touches the sky.

2.Decide to swim with turtles in one among the famous place that Zanzibar have been blessed with natural lagoon full of sea turtles called the Baraka Aquarium. Here you can choose to swim with the turtles, feed them or take snorkelling mask to dive and watch them in their natural environment.

3.Decide to enjoy the blue of Indian ocean water by exploring it with a traditional wooden boat called dhow. You can also enjoy swimming and snorkelling while watching wild dolphins at play and take a swim in the hidden mangrove lagoon.

You can decide to choose only one among the options given as most of the activity require half a day to complete them.

You will return back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay

After your breakfast you will collect all, your belongs then check out of the hotel and head back to Dar es salaam. Before your departure you will get to enjoy the Stone town tour where you will learn the amazing history of the heart of Zanzibar and get to see the slave market site, daily market, house of wonder, old fort and many other, then after you will drive to the airport for your flight to Dar es salaam.
