Welcome to Tanzania for 13-Day Tanzania Photographer Safari! Our driver will meet you at Kilimanjaro Airport (JRO) and transfer you to your hotel in Arusha for rest and an overnight stay at Mount Meru Hotel. The drive from Kilimanjaro Airport to Arusha takes a maximum of one hour. Enjoy your time at the hotel and get plenty of rest for the plans the following day.

After a long international flight, you deserve a day of light excursions in Arusha. We will use this day to tour the city of Arusha, explore some iconic landmarks, and enjoy local food. Our guests have shared how important this day is for them to rest before going on safari. Use this day to Experience the African culture and meet the Tanzania People daily Activities. After breakfast at your hotel, our crew will pick you at 10: 00am to take you for a city tour of Arusha.

After breakfast, head to Arusha National Park for an exciting game drive, exploring its diverse wildlife and breath-taking scenery. Arusha National Park is a scenic gem in northern Tanzania, renowned for its diverse ecosystems, including lush forests, sparkling lakes, and the iconic Mount Meru. The park is home to a variety of wildlife, such as giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and abundant bird species. Visitors can enjoy game drives, walking safaris, and canoeing, making it a perfect destination for nature enthusiasts and adventure seekers.
After breakfast, Your Safari adventure will continue to Tarangire National Park. This is Tanzania’s fourth largest park offering diverse wildlife and scenery including giant baobab trees. It is home to the largest herds of elephants in East Africa. These herds migrate along the wildlife corridor to nearby Lake Manyara National Park. Animal populations here rival those of the Serengeti so you will have a chance to see wildebeests, zebras, elands, hartebeests, buffalos, and flocks of birds of various species.

Today, after breakfast, set off with a packed lunch for a scenic drive through the Ngorongoro Highlands to Serengeti National Park. Enjoy a game drive along the way as you marvel at the breathtaking landscapes. After a picnic lunch at Naabi Gate, immerse yourself in a wildlife photography game drive, exploring this UNESCO World Heritage Site, home to the largest concentration of plains game that still roams freely.

After early breakfast depart for Ngorongoro Crater, arrive and descend to the crater for photographer Safari inside the crater. This is the second-best place in Tanzania to see black rhino as well as the pride of lions that include the magnificent black-manned males. There are lots of colourful flamingos and a variety of water birds. Other game that you can see includes Hippo, Zebra, wildebeest, hyena and many more resident wild animals in Crater. You will enjoy your lunch at a picnic site in the crater floor and proceed with afternoon game drive and check out from Crater to Karatu.

After an early breakfast, drive southwest, between Lake Eyasi and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The Hadzabe community, living near Lake Eyasi, is one of Tanzania’s last hunter-gatherer tribes, offering a unique glimpse into ancient traditions. Known for their deep connection to nature, the Hadzabe sustain themselves through hunting, foraging, and utilizing natural resources. You will have the opportunity to join them and learn about their daily activities, survival skills, and experience their rich culture and traditional lifestyle, which remains largely untouched by modern influences.

Today, after breakfast, depart for an exciting final photography safari in Lake Manyara National Park, famous for its diverse wildlife, including primates, elephants, and vibrant birdlife. After an unforgettable exploration and a delicious hot lunch, enjoy a scenic drive back to Arusha, reflecting on the day’s adventures.
