Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met by our team Member and transferred to your hotel in Moshi. After check-in, you will have a briefing  with your guide, followed by an equipment check to ensure you are well-prepared for the climb. The missed hiking gears can be rent .

Habitat: Montane Forest

After breakfast, you will be driven to the Nalemoru Gate, the starting point of your 7-Day Mount Kilimanjaro Climb. The trail winds through lush montane forest, where you may spot colobus monkeys and other wildlife. The climb is gradual, allowing for an easy first day of trekking. You will reach Simba Camp in the late afternoon, where you will settle in for the night.

Hiking Time: 6–7 hours

Distance: 12 km

Habitat: Moorland

Today’s trek takes you through heather and moorland zones, offering stunning views of the Kenyan plains and Mawenzi Peak. You will pass through Second Cave (3,450m), where you will take a short break before continuing to Kikelewa Camp. Upon arrival, you will have time to rest and enjoy the surrounding landscapes.

Hiking Time: 4–5 hours

Distance: 6 km

Habitat: Alpine Desert

The route today is short but steep, taking you towards Mawenzi Tarn Camp, situated at the base of the majestic Mawenzi Peak. The dramatic scenery provides a unique setting as you acclimatize at higher altitudes. The afternoon will be spent resting or taking an optional acclimatization hike.

Hiking Time: 5–6 hours

Distance: 9 km

Habitat: Alpine Desert

Your journey continues across the lunar-like landscape of the Saddle, which lies between Mawenzi and Kibo peaks. You will arrive at Kibo Hut in the early afternoon, where you will rest and prepare for the midnight summit attempt.

Hiking Time: 12–15 hours

Distance: 22 km (ascent and descent)

Habitat: Arctic to Moorland

The summit push begins just after midnight. You will trek through the steep, rocky path to Gilman’s Point (5,685m) on the crater rim. From here, a final push leads you to Uhuru Peak (5,895m), the highest point in Africa. After celebrating your achievement, you will descend back to Kibo Hut for a short rest before continuing to Horombo Hut.

Hiking Time: 5–6 hours

Distance: 20 km

Habitat: Moorland & Rainforest

This is final for 7-Day Mount Kilimanjaro Climb-Rongai route, You’ll descent through the lush rainforest to Marangu Gate. Here, you will receive your summit certificate before being driven back to Moshi for a well-earned rest.
