If anything is missing, it can be rented for you.

After arriving at Kilimanjaro National Park from Arusha, you will commence your 7-day Tanzania Kilimanjaro climbing adventure. The journey begins at an elevation of 1830m and takes you through the Montane forest region, covering a distance of 11km in approximately 5-6 hours. You will reach the campsite where you will spend the night.

After having breakfast, you will ascend for 4-5 hours through the moorland region, climbing from 3050m to 3850m, covering a distance of 5km from the campsite. You will reach the next camp where you will spend the night.

Following an early sunrise and breakfast, you will continue hiking for 10km from the hut through a Semi-desert climate. This will take you from 3850m to 4000m and approximately 5-6 hours to reach the campsite where you will spend the night.

After breakfast at the camp, you will proceed to trek from 4000m to 4700m, covering a distance of 9km from your previous destination. This leg of the journey will take you 6-8 hours through the Alpine desert until you reach the Barafu campsite, where you will spend the night.

Following breakfast, you will ascend from 4700m to 5895m, covering a distance of 5km in 5-7 hours to reach the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro. After spending a few minutes at the summit, you will begin your descent, covering 13km to an elevation of 3090m. This part of the journey will take approximately 5-6 hours and involves passing through stone scree and ice-capped regions. You will spend the night at Mweka camp.

On the final day of the Kilimanjaro climb, after breakfast, you will descend to the gate at an elevation of 1680m, covering a distance of 10km from the campsite. The descent will take approximately 3-4 hours, passing through the mountain forest habitat. At the gate, you will receive a trekking certificate from the authority, and you can have a brief celebration with your fellow climbers before departing. It is customary to tip your porters.

After breakfast at your hotel, you will have a short walk around Arusha town (depending on your flight schedule), followed by a transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport to catch your flight. Goodbye!
