The Masai Mara with its savannahs, grasslands and undulating hills all combine to set the scene for the splendor of a Kenyan safari. Spend a full day in this wild game park to experience the ultimate adventure in Kenya before returning to camp.

Today, you cross the Kenya-Tanzania border and arrive at the world-famous Serengeti. This is the long dry season and the wildebeest migration is moving north with the thundershowers. The period from July to amazing wildlife viewing.

Serengeti wildebeest crossing Mara River.

September is the time when wildebeest herds cross the Mara River in the very north of the Serengeti in an area called Kogatende before they migrate to the Maasai Mara in Kenya. This provides for some

Many visitors only want to see the river crossings but the true spectacle of the migration is more than 1,500,000 wildebeests, 200,000 Burchell’s zebras, 18,000 elands and 500,000 Thomson’s Gazelles filling the entire stretch of landscape. Spending more days here increases your chance to witness endless herds of wildebeest crossing the Mara River. The shifting columns of the herds as they traverse the valleys and the hills can only be watched in awe. There is nothing else like this on earth. Return to camp in late afternoon for dinner and overnight stay. You can go for an optional hot air balloon ride over the Serengeti plains. (Extra fees apply.) Or, go for a morning drive for an amazing game viewing experience.

Enjoy morning game drive in central and southern Serengeti then drive toward Ngorongoro Conservation via Olduvai Gorge.

Explore the stunning Ngorongoro Area, known for its diverse wildlife. Have a delightful meal by the hippopotamus lake and enjoy a second wildlife drive. Also Crater is the home of Big five like Black rhino, Lion, Buffaloes and Elephant.  Dinner and Overnight at the lodge.

Leave very early in the morning for game viewing in Ngorongoro Crater. Descend into the Ngorongoro caldera to view the wildlife on the crater floor. In the afternoon, proceed to Tarangire where you will have dinner and spend your evening time for game drive.

Tarangire is probably one of the least visited of the northern Tanzanian game parks, and retains a real air of undiscovered Africa, particularly in the south of the park. Just two hours’ drive away from Arusha. Leave Tarangire in the afternoon and drive to Arusha for overnight.

After a leisurely breakfast, you can go for an optional tour around Arusha town to visit the Maasai Market, Cultural Heritage, Arusha Museum of Natural History, curio shops, or the Tanzanite Experience before crossing the Tanzania-Kenya border at Namanga to proceed to Amboseli.
