The first group lives at Virunga Volcanoes a region spanning three national parks in Uganda, Rwanda, and DRC and the second in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in Uganda. The latter is a UNESCO heritage site. This trip is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for you to spend time close to these magnificent apes. Only eight people can visit a gorilla family in a day.

Depart from Entebbe International Airport and fly to Kihihi Airstrip, where our tour guide will be waiting to receive you when you land. From here we will transfer you to the lodge by road to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
Gorilla trekking could take a couple of hours or the entire day. Whatever the case, it will be well worth your while. Spending time around the gorillas is a very personal experience so we shall leave the description of today's events to yourself. In addition, there is an option for an evening community walk. The community walk will give you a first-hand experience of how the local people live day-to-day and how the Batwa the original inhabitants of the forest lived before conservation efforts convinced them to walk away from what was their home for many generations.
Our tour guide will transfer you by road to Kihihi Airstrip from where you will board your flight to Entebbe International Airport.
