During this 4-Day Tanzania safari package you will visit three of the most well-known reserves on Tanzania’s “northern circuit” – Tarangire National Park, Ngorongoro Crater and Serengeti National Park. With all the diverse landscapes and a crater full of animals, this safari has something for everyone and is ideal for those with limited time. After breakfast, depart from Arusha and head to Tarangire National Park (approximately a 2–3-hour drive). Explore Tarangire, known for its large elephant population, baobab trees, and diverse birdlife. Enjoy game drives in the park, searching for elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, and various antelope species. In the late afternoon, head to your lodge located in Karatu or near Tarangire National Park.
Overnight stay at a lodge in or near Tarangire National Park.
After breakfast, depart from Karatu and drive to Serengeti National Park (approximately a 3-4 hour drive). Enter the Serengeti, one of Africa’s most renowned wildlife reserves, famous for its annual wildebeest migration. Embark on game drives in the park, exploring the vast plains and searching for lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, and other wildlife.
Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park, immersing yourself in the Serengeti’s natural beauty.
After an early breakfast, depart from Serengeti after half day game drive. Later you will drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area (approximately a 3 hour drive). You will arrive at the lodge in Crater rim before dark for Dinner and Overstay.
The final day of 4-Days Tanzania Lodge Safari, Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to a dense concentration of wildlife. Spend the day exploring the crater floor, searching for the Big Five (lion, elephant, buffalo, and rhino), as well as hyenas, and an array of bird species.
Enjoy a picnic lunch in the crater, surrounded by the stunning scenery. Later you drive back to Arusha.
