After an early morning breakfast at your hotel, you will meet your guide who will provide a short yet comprehensive introduction to your safari. Following this, you will gather your belongings and get ready to embark on this unforgettable journey. The drive to Nyerere National Park will take approximately 5-6 hours, depending on road traffic conditions. As the largest national park in Tanzania, it covers over 31,000 sq km, originating from the vast Selous Game Reserve (which once spanned 50,000 sq km). Despite its size, Nyerere National Park receives relatively few visitors, ensuring a more intimate and exclusive wildlife experience without encountering numerous vehicles on your daily game drives.

Upon arrival, you will proceed to the camp to check in and enjoy a delicious lunch. Later in the afternoon, you’ll depart for a two to three-hour evening boat safari, a captivating experience that brings you up close to hippos, crocodiles, and a wide array of fascinating birdlife.

Over the next two days, you will embark on full-day game drives in Nyerere National Park (Selous Game Reserve). The exploration of the vast reserve will be conducted in a 4WD vehicle, offering excellent photographic opportunities and the chance to explore different sections of this magnificent park. Nyerere National Park is renowned for its majestic elephants, but you can also expect to encounter other wildlife such as lions, wild dogs, buffalo, bushbuck, impalas, elands, baboons, zebras, wildebeests, and greater kudu.

After your game drives, you will return to the camp for dinner and overnight stays.

Start your day with an early morning hot African coffee before embarking on a walking safari with a local guide. This unique experience allows you to witness the morning sunrise while learning about different plant species and their traditional uses, especially medicinal plants. You’ll also have the chance to observe birds and animals up close. The guided walk provides an opportunity to engage in discussions about local cultures and the connections between local people and their natural environment. After the walk, return to the camp for a satisfying breakfast.

Following breakfast, pack your belongings and depart for Mikumi. The journey will include a stop for lunch in Iringa. Mikumi National Park is known for its African wild dog population and holds the largest population of antelopes. Additionally, you will encounter giraffes, lions, kudu, reedbuck, buffalo, warthog, waterbuck, zebras, and over 400 bird species.

After an early morning breakfast, embark on a full-day game drive in Mikumi National Park. A hot lunch will be served within the park, allowing for a short rest before continuing the game drive until sunset. Return to the camp for dinner and overnight.

Enjoy an early morning breakfast, pack your belongings, and depart for Ruaha National Park. The scenic journey will take approximately 2 hours or more, depending on road conditions from Iringa town. After arriving at the park, check-in at the camp, and later, head out for an evening game drive en route to the camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Start your days with an early morning breakfast before embarking on full-day game drives at Ruaha National Park. The park boasts a significant population of elephants, as well as sightings of buffalos, giraffes, zebras, impalas, elands, hippos, crocodiles, lions, and leopards. You may also have the chance to spot rarer creatures like sable and roan antelopes, dikdik, greater and lesser kudus, Grants gazelle, and honey badgers. Ruaha is the second park after Selous Game Reserve to have the largest population of wild dogs. A picnic lunch will be served within the park, and after a full day of exploration, return to the camp for dinner and overnight stays.

Embark on an early walking safari with a park guide and armed ranger for protection, starting at 06:30 and ending at 09:30. Afterward, enjoy breakfast at the restaurant. Collect your belongings and drive to Udzungwa with a game drive along the way. Upon arrival at the hotel, check-in, and then relax before dinner.

After an early morning breakfast, collect your packed lunch and embark on a full-day trekking adventure in Udzungwa Mountain National Park. After the long trek, you can refresh and enjoy the natural swimming pool at the top of the mountain, where lunch will be served. Descend the mountain and drive back to the camp for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, collect your belongings, and begin your journey back to Dar es Salaam for Overnight or drop off at the Airport.
