Tanzania And Zanzibar Honeymoon Safari

Safari Overview.

Tanzania and Zanzibar are the perfect country for a honeymoon safari. The well-established tourism industry is used to catering for all kinds of special occasions, including honeymoons. Service is almost invariably personable, and you’ll be made to feel at home wherever you go. Many lodges have magnificent settings, and are ideal for a romantic holiday. Newlyweds can enjoy active days getting close to nature and seeing wildlife. But there are also romantic touches. Sundowner drinks while watching the deep-red African sunset, candlelit dinners in the bush, or listening to the birds serenading a new day at dawn. I can’t think of a better way to start your married life together than sharing the very special moments a Tanzania and Zanzibar honeymoon safari always offers.

Your international flight will arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport, home to the ‘The Roof of Africa’, Mount Kilimanjaro. After clearing immigration and collecting your luggage, you’ll be met by your driver who will be waiting for you at arrivals. You will drive to your accommodation in Arusha.

Today you’ll be heading out to your first Tanzania national park, the beautiful Tarangire, often a favourite park among guides due to its size and remoteness, particularly in the southern section. The park is known for the large numbers of elephants that congregate here. The primary landscape is dry, open woodland scattered with hundreds of Africa’s prehistoric ‘Trees of Life’, the baobab tree. You’ll explore the park in your private vehicle, stopping for a picnic lunch during your game drive, and eventually head to your Lodge for the evening.

Depart from Karatu to  Serengeti  through the wide green hills and across flat lowlands. The land stretches to the horizon in all directions, interrupted only by small dusty towns and earthy round Maasai huts. Once you’ve crossed into the Serengeti, you’ll be on a game drive as you make your way towards the camp. Serengeti is home to a variety of landscapes.

Today you will continue with your African safari experience to one of the country’s biggest draws: the Serengeti National Park. The endless plains and abundance of wildlife that call the Serengeti home are unsurpassed. Together with your private guide, you will be looking for the wildlife herds across the plains. you will also get to see lots of other animals such as lions, cheetahs, leopards, and many more. Expect to be impressed by the natural beauty of Africa’s most famous park.

Early in the morning, you’ll drive from Serengeti to the Ngorongoro. Upon arrival at Ngorongoro, you will start descending into the crater. This collapsed volcano is the main feature of the area and creates a unique ecosystem with a wide variety of vegetation. Enjoy the beautiful colours of the landscapes and the diversity of animals. The crater is home to the highest concentration of wildlife in Africa and is choked with elephants, lions, buffaloes, hippos and even the rare black rhino

After breakfast, depending on the flight time, your driver will transfer you to Arusha Airport for your flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival at Zanzibar Airport, you will be welcomed by our representative and transfer you to your reserved accommodation on the beach. Enjoy the Best Zanzibar Beach in Tanzania and experience at your own leisure. Explore the amazing coral reefs and swim among thousands of colourful tropical fish, grab a surfboard and hit the waves or simply lay back for a bit of sun.

After breakfast, our driver guide will pick you at the hotel and transfer you to the airport for your onward flight. This is where we will wave our final goodbyes.
