Tanzania and Zanzibar are the perfect country for a honeymoon safari. The well-established tourism industry is used to catering for all kinds of special occasions, including honeymoons. Service is almost invariably personable, and you’ll be made to feel at home wherever you go. Many lodges have magnificent settings, and are ideal for a romantic holiday. Newlyweds can enjoy active days getting close to nature and seeing wildlife. But there are also romantic touches. Sundowner drinks while watching the deep-red African sunset, candlelit dinners in the bush, or listening to the birds serenading a new day at dawn. I can’t think of a better way to start your married life together than sharing the very special moments a Tanzania and Zanzibar honeymoon safari always offers.

The park is known for the large numbers of elephants that congregate here. The primary landscape is dry, open woodland scattered with hundreds of Africa’s prehistoric ‘Trees of Life’, the baobab tree. You’ll explore the park in your private vehicle, stopping for a picnic lunch during your game drive, and eventually head to your Lodge for the evening.

Once you’ve crossed into the Serengeti, you’ll be on a game drive as you make your way towards the camp. Serengeti is home to a variety of landscapes.

Expect to be impressed by the natural beauty of Africa’s most famous park.
Early in the morning, you’ll drive from Serengeti to the Ngorongoro. Upon arrival at Ngorongoro, you will start descending into the crater. This collapsed volcano is the main feature of the area and creates a unique ecosystem with a wide variety of vegetation. Enjoy the beautiful colours of the landscapes and the diversity of animals.
